We work on a variety of health projects developed and implemented by a local group called the Health Hub of Gulf and Franklin. The Health Hub collects and analyzes data to educate and mobilize communities, develop priorities, gather resources, and plan and implement actions to improve public health. The two documents used do this successfully are the community health assessment (CHA) and community health improvement plan (CHIP).
The Florida Department of Health in Gilchrist County continually evaluates the health of the county by measuring multiple data points and compiling the results in charts and reports.
The Health Hub uses social media platforms like Facebook to share updates and local events.
